The true face of beauty

by Lynn on April 22, 2010

Glossy magazine covers don’t capture real beauty.
The makeup, the hair, the poses are so manufactured.
I prefer the real beauty that is right in front of us, every day…

The breathtaking expression of effort:

The graceful blur of speed…

The look of pure, gritty determination…

The blend of physical skill and mental concentration:

Men who celebrate a well-hit softball with a fist bump…

The happiness when you see your family on the sidelines…

Absolutely breathtaking.

I wholeheartedly agree. Real beauty lay in real life. Fantastic photographs capturing that!

I agree all the way, often I see family and friends in action and I see the real person in the shot. I will always see them like that, real. Thanks for making me think.

You’re great at reminding everyone of the simple things in life. Also, I’m going to start playing kickball in a plaid skirt. Awesome uniform.
