I’m grappling with a problem.
It has tainted our home life.

Actually, gas is the least of our worries.
Now that we are officially in January, our big problem is:
STATIC ELECTRICITY.

The static has reached epic proportions. Our hair stands on end.
It completely ruins our efforts to look like runway models.

I feel like I’m living with Cousin It.
It’s disturbing.
Where are my kids?
We are having a hair emergency.
It’s out of control. We need humidity. Pronto.

Lynn you’ll get a kick out of this post that I did LAST winter. http://homesteadersheart.blogspot.com/2010/01/warning-dont-touch-me.html
Let’s just say I can TOTALLY relate.
We are all zapping each other over here too!
We have an excess of humidity down here in Florida…I’ll send you some. ;0)
Also, static shocks hurt.
When you’re having a static-hair-emergency, I’ve discovered that you can take a dryer sheet and smooth it over your hair – takes the static out, at least for a few minutes!
That was hysterical – love the flying hair! You can rub some lotion onto your palms (not much) and rub over your hair, too, to help the flyaways! I’m been zapping myself everytime I turn on a light – grrrr.
