Do you spy on your neighbors?

by Lynn on February 8, 2012

I like to spy on my neighbors.
Don’t you?

Fog presents a problem for spies like me.

It impedes the view into my neighbor’s kitchen.
Is dinner ready? My stomach is growling.

Not only do I feel hungry,
I feel so out of touch.

It is so sad when Fate conspires to wall me off from the world.
Hey, wait a second. That’s not fog. That’s my office window!

Er, never mind.

What is that white stuff on the ground? It’s been in the high 70′s low 80′s here. But apparently it’s going to get a bit cooler and get down to a high of 68. LOL! Don’t be jealous.
And uh, gee, I think the view from your window looks very,………Wintery. Yes, Wintery. Oh look at the time! I’ve got to go! HUGSSSSS!!!!

My neighbor called Monday to say, “April, your truck hasn’t moved all weekend. Is everything okay?” Funny, huh? I actually take comfort in the fact that someone is watching us and watching out for us. Have a great day!

Beautiful view! I’ve never seen trees like that. Living in the middle of the suburbs, I can’t imagine not being able to see my neighbor’s house.

Too bad it was just your office window. Fog could really be an advantage to a spy. It could hide you while you do something nefarious like plant pink flamingos in your neighbor’s yard, or, um, steal a pie that’s cooling on their windowsill.

I’ve never actually seen a pie cooling on someone’s windowsill but it happens all the time in old movies, so I believe it actually happens somewhere.

I spied on my neighbors too until I saw one of them walking around naked then I felt creepy. I do like to go for walks at night time so I can look in windows from the sidewalk. I like to see how they decorate.

The trees and fog are magical and beautiful. How lovely to live amongst that!
