How your dog can trim your toenails. Free!

by Lynn on February 6, 2012

Here is my dog right before our daily training session:

Look at her.
She’s out of control.
Have no worry. I can fix that.
First, I need to show her who’s boss.

Quite simply, I put my hand on top of her head.
In dog language, this translates into “I am the alpha leader.”

Peeking is NOT allowed.
When this infraction occurs, I trap her between my feet.
As you can see, this exercise restores order and discipline.

There is something so calming about a docile and obedient dog.

Don’t try this at home.
Sometimes,it can lead to disastrous results.

Any moment now, you will see the epitome of good canine behavior.

Er, ouch!

There!
One calm dog.
And one unexpected pedicure.

Everyone wins.

And I just wasted good money on a pedi! Next time I’m coming to your house! Do you have to tip? Hee! Hee!
LOVE your precious pooch!

It would be wonderful if I could train mine to give pedicures, but they only seem to like socks with no feet in them. Now that I think about it that’s probably just as well, since when they grab socks they like to run through the house with them, and I can just imagine what it would be like to be dragged along instead of getting a nice, relaxing pedicure.

Although technically didn’t your dog give you a pet-i-cure?

When our kitten gives me a pedicure, I end up with puncture marks on my ankles. What am I doing wrong?

Love the first picture – one ear up, one ear down. She knows what’s coming, I bet. She has that gleam in her eye!

Er, um, I think you may need to call The Dog Whisperer! It seems that your furry little friend thinks your foot is her very own dog toy.

Your dog is quite the beauty when she holds still! :)

I misread the title to be, “How you can trim your DOG’S toenails!” I thought you wanted him to sit still for that. Pretty funny either way!

I love that dog! Question, is she small enough that you can scoop her up and hold her like a baby? Oh I would just squeeze her in person! She looks so loveable! (She right?) She looks like a she, unless she is a he, and then I sincerely apologize! <3 Happy Friday eve! Have a wondermous day!

Hey! Your dog is so cute! Just like mine…LOL.. Dogs are really funny and playful, but i’m still aware of their bites. Just be safe at all times..
