My husband pants for my body.
That heavy breathing makes it tough to chat.
Sometimes I have to raise my voice to be heard.

Just last week, I asked my husband to build me a porch.
You know, something simple so we could eat outside this summer.

Before I knew it,
he started building…and building…and building.

I gently reminded him that the porch didn’t have to be fancy.
He looked down at me and said, “Wow, you are SO hot! Damn, I’m lucky.”
Then he added ionic columns, an HD television, and a fancy roof to the porch.

I insisted that he take a break.
“Please leave,” he begged. “I’m distracted by your ageless beauty.”
Then he added a few finishing touches to my awesome new porch.

I managed to stop him before he dug me a new swimming pool.
That man will do anything to see me in a bathing suit.

I took pity on him and brought him inside. I could tell he was getting tired,
because he jammed something beside the porch that didn’t make any sense.

I reminded him that we already had a dog.
“Oh,” he panted. “That must be who I hear breathing all the time.”
Then my husband kissed me so amorously that I didn’t have time to respond.
