Is that a rug? Or a dog?

My dog…

My brother’s dog…

Yep, we have a new Irish Wolfhound in the family.
He is 8 months old.

He is the size of a small elephant.

And small elephants sleep A LOT.

In the above picture, I’m petting my dog – who is inside my brother’s dog.
She was mistaken for dinner.

We are tired of our brother’s dog gobbling up our tiny Shelties.

I think the perfect size dog is one that you can take with you easily but not trip over because you can’t see it. But I’m in no hurry to replace the two we had. It’s heart breaking when it’s time for them to “go”. Plus with 3 kiddos to take care of, I really don’t have the time to invest right now. Maybe when I’m older so it can outlive me. LOL!

Groucho Marx said, “Outside of a dog a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
So here’s my advice: whenever you’re around your brother’s dog keep a flashlight in your pocket. If he accidentally swallows you at least you’ll be able to read.

Whaaaaaaat?!! That beast is only a puppy?!!!

I had the most urgent desire to get onto the floor next to him while he napped. I would SO snuggle that baby!!

If that wolfhound is 8 months old, does that mean he has four more months of growing to do?

Eek!!!
