I know I should be writing, but I can’t sit at my desk any longer.
Time to wonder outside and see the world, otherwise I’ll forget the sky’s color.
I’m always surprised by the color present in wintertime.
Sure, I miss the greens – but check out the golds, browns, and taupes.
Even the marsh in the nearby nature preserve has interesting scenes to offer.
I was so enthralled by the beauty,
I stopped looking where I was walking and stepped into this:
What the holy heck is this orange goo in the stream?
Not only is it in the water, but now it’s in my SHOE!
Like any responsible adult, I ran to my car,
drove home, and hid in my office.
I ain’t coming out ’til Spring.
.
What are you gonna do today?

Ewww…I’m going to pretend I didn’t see that today. That’s what I’m going to do.

If it stops raining I’m going to go for a walk in the park near my office. And keep my eyes open so I don’t step in any orange goo. I wouldn’t want to put my foot in it but the goo is actually kind of pretty.

I only wish I could step in some orange goo…any orange goo we might have in this neck of the woods is frozen solid! The weather isn’t fit for man or beast…and it’s so cloudy we can’t see what color the sky is! So I’m going to stare at your orange goo, and wish I was there…cause I’m sure it’s warmer!
Donnamae got ahead of me … I was going to say – what browns, golds, and taupes? Everywhere I look, everything is WHITE!
Hope you had a nice walk, aside from the orange yuckies in your shoe
