Finding the love and humor in every story
Every time I try to be sexy,
this happens:
My kid photo bombs me, or…
The camera settings are ALL wrong, or…
I look like a total dweeb with an oversized white t-shirt, or…
I look like I’m obsessed with my hair, or…
My dog can’t stop wiggling.
Moral of the story:
Stop trying to be sexy.

When I'm working on a romance novel, a typical day looks like this...
Awake at 5am
Blog and email correspondence
Get kids ready for school
Take dog for a run
Write
Eat lunch
Fix what I wrote before lunch
Deal with after school activities
Try to make a decent dinner
Write a little bit more
Snore

I was hoping to come here and get some advice for myself. LOL! I think sexy is overrated. I’m going for the “you wanna piece of me?” look. It’s funny how this affects people. Ha! Ha!

Here’s the best advice I know: be yourself. Anyone who doesn’t find that sexy, or at the very least appealing, isn’t worth your time.

Yeah, I think a few high schoolers with Facebook and Instagram may be a little more skilled at the “sexy face” than use grown folks. Must be something in the water. Visiting from SITS!

Ha! These are awesome – the dog one is my fave. I too am incapable of being sexy on command in photos (or in life…but that’s a separate issue). I tried to send a saucy photo to my husband and finally just gave up after taking about 10 weird mirror photos of myself with 10 different variations of half-smile/smirk/grimace.
